I was even more excited after learning that Aran and I are from the same region in Spain and shared many interests!
Aran calls herself a food stylist, and I would agree with that. When you combine her skills at composition, her creativity, and her passion for photography, you have a sure formula for success. If you asked me to define Aran Goyoaga's work in one word, as difficult as that would be, for me that word would be "exquisite." We are thrilled that Aran recently shot a series of still lives for Cookies for Babies. Here are her adorable creations.

Happy Halloween! from Cookies for Babies
Atlanta’s favorite fun family Halloween festival returns this year! Explore magical paths, sample sweet treats, meet the whimsical characters of Zoo Boo Town, and much more on two enchanted weekends with more than 1,000 animals from around the world.
This year Cookies For Babies, will be co-sponsor of this event. We will be donating 1,000 yummy cookies for little ones, from 9 months and up! Parents and Adults LOVE them too!
So grab your costume (what are you dressing up as?) and head out to the Zoo on October 24th to taste our cookies and to enjoy your family and friends.
Remember: October 23rd and 24th - 30th and 31st. @10:00 a.m.

Cookies For Babies is proud to support the Tiny Sparrow Foundation donating our handcrafted artisan cookies to a silent auction. Tiny Sparrow Foundation is a non-profit foundation dedicated to provide lasting memories through the art of photography to families with children who are facing life-threatening illnesses.
Our handmade artisanal cookies will join an event and silence auction on September 30, 2010 organized in support of the Tiny Sparrow Foundation. We are delighted to participate with a small contribution.
Wanted to share some great moments during our cookie demo that took place at the Whole Foods Buckhead store on West Paces Ferry Road in Atlanta. We enjoyed it so much!
It was a busy Saturday with babies, toddlers, moms, dads, and grandparents enjoying our cookies. We had a fabulous time!
Our warm thanks go to Brett Smith (Whole Foods Bakery Team Leader) and to Superstars Zakiya, Sarah and Jasyn...we could not have done it without you!
These are the professionals that make things happen at this special place. They support local producers. Whole Foods' philosophy and quality standards are uniquely special - we are honored they have brought our products into their store.
We have read many articles in Atlanta's Food and Gourmet magazines and media about Christian Balbierer, co-owner of Chocolate Pink Café, my favorite patisserie in Atlanta.
Whether you want to enjoy your favorite tea, coffee or hot chocolate in a refined Cafe environment, or simply stop by to bring home a French-style pear tart or a decadent cupcake, Chocolate Pink has it all. From the moment you enter Chocolate Pink, you are hooked.

Meet Brett Smith - Bakery Team Leader @ Whole Foods

Brett Smith is Whole Foods Market's Bakery team leader at the West Paces Ferry store in Atlanta, which is part of the South Region spanning Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and North and South Carolina. He manages a wonderful team of professionals who prepare all-natural products in-house and also feature and support local vendors all year around. Every product, whether in-house or from local vendors adheres to Whole Foods' strict quality standards and use only all-natural ingredients.
Whole Foods Market has seven stores in the Atlanta area, and each bakery refines its product mix and merchandising to appeal to its local customers. That's what gives each bakery its unique flair.
To keep current with its dynamic demographics and economies, each region's bakery team leaders (bakery managers) regularly test product categories and production procedures.
Just as important, most of the new ideas come from Whole Foods' team members because they are deeply interested in bakery and its products.
These team members take food seriously, and their collective creativity brings a lot of value to their customers. They are outgoing ‘foodies,’ people who show a passion for food and eagerly express it. This goes a long way to getting team members who look forward to tasting products, helping customers and explaining the bakery's products.
It is delightful to work with Brett and his team!
